Developer Productivity
The abstract API enables developers to become productive quickly. Developers can access all
the features and power of product through the Advanced Programming Interface (API). CPE/CommBooster,
IBX's protocol is universal. It does not matter whether if the application is on Unix,
Windows, OS/2, or on an IBM mainframe or whether communication is based on APPC
or TCP/IP; the same API is always used.

Location Transparency
The product supports LDAP (lightweight directory access protocol), enabling application
messaging to be dynamically routed through location and naming information contained
in any LDAP complaint directory.
Data Transparency
The product automatically translates data between source and target formats, making
messages appear in native data formats for the source and target applications.
High Messaging Throughput
CPE/CommBooster, IBX is multithreaded to provide open multiple communications sessions on
a single platform concurrently.

Queuing (IBX)
The product enables calls, using a queue as the transport. It enable clients and service

Low Impact
The product utilizes a one-sided communications code compilation process
that eliminates the need to compile stub code onto target mainframe systems.

Platform and Protocol Support

Investment Protection
The product supports the leading client environments including Microsoft Explorer,
